By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant (or his or her parent or legal guardian if the entrant is under the majority in their home state) unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules.
Eligibility: Open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are 13 years of age or older (except that legal residents of Maine must be 18 years of age or older to enter). Entrants under the age of the majority in their state of residence should get permission from parents or guardians to enter the Sweepstakes. Void in Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and where prohibited by law. Online entrants must have pre-existing Internet access and a pre-existing, valid email address. Employees, agents, and representatives of TheRacersResource.com and their immediate family members and persons living in their same household are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. Void where prohibited. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. There is no limit on the number of times an individual can win a monthly drawing in any one year.
PRIVACY: Sponsor will be collecting personal data about entrants in accordance with its privacy policy. Please review the Sponsor's privacy policy at www.TheRacersResource.com. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you hereby agree to the Sponsor's collection and usage of your personal information and acknowledge that you have read and accepted Sponsor's privacy policy. If you are under the age of 13, please do not enter this sweepstakes and do not provide us with any Personal Information. TheRacersResource.com does not knowingly accept collect Personal Information from children under 13, as doing so is restricted by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"). For more information on COPPA, please refer to the Federal Trade Commission website.
How to Enter: You may enter Sweepstakes two ways: (1) Online: A one-time registration is required. Access TheRacersResource web site at http://www.theracersresource.com and follow the on-screen instructions to register. To submit daily entries, complete the online entry form in its entirety and click on the "Submit" button. A limit of one online entry per day is allowed per individual and per e-mail address for each monthly online promotion Subsequent entries determined to be submitted from the same email address or from the same individual using multiple email addresses in violation of this rule will be declared ineligible. (2) By Mail: Legibly hand-print on a 3" by 5" card the words "The Racers Resource Sweepstakes" along with your name, address, e-mail address (if you do not have an e-mail address or do not want to be sent e-mails from TheRacersResource, print "no e-mail address"), and telephone number and mail the entry to: TheRacersResource, Attention: Sweepstakes,19 Center Street, Rockland ME 04841. Only one entry per person per day is permitted. Duplicate daily entries will be disqualified.
Contest Timing: The first Contest begins at 12:00AM US Mountain Time on March 1, 2010 and ends at 11:59PM US Mountain Time on March 31, 2010. A new Contest will begin on the following day after conclusion of the prior Contest. Each successive monthly Contest will begin at 12:00AM US Mountain Time on the first day of the month and end at 11:59PM US Mountain Time on the last day of the month. Contests will be in one month durations until further notice. The Producer may alter the duration of the Contest period at any time.
Prize: One selected winner will receive one (1) $100-value participating-manufacturers coupon each month. Approximate retail value: $100. No alternative prize, cash, or other substitution is permitted except by TheRacersResource.com in the event of prize unavailability. Prize is not transferable or assignable. Any additional expenses including any taxes or shipping costs associated with this prize or its redemption are the sole responsibility of the winner. Coupons have no cash value, expire one (1) year from date of issue, and are valid for one-time use only; if the retail value of the manufacturer‘s product(s) selected by the winner is less than $100, coupon is considered fulfilled.
Odds of Winning Odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received.
Selection of Winner: Winners will be determined by random drawing every calendar month throughout the sweepstakes period. All decisions are final and binding. Winner will be notified by email within 24 hours of each random drawing.
Claiming of Prize: Winner must confirm via email within 72 hours of notification. If winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 72 hours of being contacted, if any email notification is returned as undeliverable, or in the event a potential winner does not accept the prize or fails to comply with these rules and requirements, the prize will be forfeited. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given.
In a dispute as to who submitted the winning entry, the winning entrant will be determined by who established the email account specified in the winning entry. Winner may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility and sign a release in order to claim the prize. Sponsor may select an alternate winner if winner fails to respond within timeframe specified or if winner fails to meet all eligibility requirements set forth herein.
General Terms and Conditions: By entering, each participant agrees to be bound by these official Rules and the decisions of TheRacersResource.com, which shall be final. Owners, agents and representatives of TheRacersResource.com, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, or postage-due entries; (ii) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind: (iii) failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions; (iv) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsor that may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; (v) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as result the prize, or acceptance, possession, or use the prize, or from participation in the Sweepstakes; or (vi) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or cancel Sweepstakes at any time if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each participant agrees to release and hold TheRacersResource.com and the employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, and representatives of TheRacersResource.com, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with Sweepstakes or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or the like entry methods will void all such entries by such methods.
Winners List and Official Rules: A winners list will be posted on this web site through a link on the entry page on the World Wide Web throughout the Sweepstakes period. To obtain a copy of the winners lists or a copy of these Official Rules, send your request along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: TheRacersResource, Attention: Sweepstakes, 19 Center Street, Rockland ME 04841. Requests must be received no later than 60 days after the awarding of each monthly prize.
