PITTSBURGH, PA - The 2012 racing season at Pittsburgh's Pennsylvania Motor Speedway will get underway on Saturday, March 31st with the annual "Test and Tune" Session.
"The session is open to competitors in any of the divisions scheduled to compete at the speedway this year," stated track owner Matt Miley. "We are excited to get the 2012 racing season underway. Many of the area teams look forward to this session to get their cars set up for weekly competition and with the unseasonably warm weather we have had the past two weeks we are expecting an excellent turnout."
Grandstand and Pit Admission gates will open at 2:00PM for the Test and Tune Session with practice to take place from 3:00PM to 6:00PM. Grandstand Admission is Free and Pit Admission is priced at $20.00.
In the event of inclement weather the raindate for the practice session is Sunday, April 1st; and that is no "April Fool's" joke.
Defending Late Model Sportsman Champion Jake Simmons and
