xc Goodale Wins Friday Night's Richie Evans Memorial At New Smyrna

Eric Goodale topped the field to score the NASCAR Tour-Type Modifieds victory in the Richie Evans Memorial at New Smyrna Speedway in New Smyrna Beach, FL Friday night in the 46th annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing.

Ryan Preece crossed the finish line second, with Chuck Hossfeld third, Daniel Hemric fourth and Andy Seuss fifth.

Rob Shultz topped the SK Modifieds field, with T.J. Zacharias finishing second, Jimmy Zacharias third and Dave Cramner fourth.

In other action, Stephen Nasse was flagged the winner of the Super Late Model feature, but was disqualified due to a front clearance issue, handing the win to Travis Cope. David Rogers picked up second, with Becca Kasten third, Brandon Booth fourth and Ryan Moore fifth.

Drew Brannon scored his third straight Pro Late Model win of the week. Anthony Sergi came home second, followed by Dakota Stroup in third, Cole Powell in fourth and Brandon Hermiller fifth.

In the Pro Truck feature, Cody Haskins beat out Caesar Bacarella for the victory. Mark Evans, Michael Burns and Nick Hernandez rounded out the top five.

All results are unofficial until certified by race officials.

The 46th annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing will wrap up with tonight’s Bright House Challenge Series Super Late Model 100, the Pro Late Models, Pro Trucks, and NASCAR Tour-Type Modifieds.
