| xc | CARS Pro Cup Opens 2012 at Anderson
Dec.20.2011 The CARS Pro Cup series is pleased to announce that the season opening race for the 2012 season has been finalized! We will be racing at Anderson Motor Speedway in Seneca, SC on March 31, 2012. This will mark the first time that the Pro Cup Series has raced at the 3/8 mile oval. We're excited to be heading to the track! With the 2012 racing schedule, the series will be re-enforcing its short-track roots and returning to 4 tracks that it has not competed on in recent years. Caraway, Orange County, Tri-County, and Kingsport speedways have all hosted Pro Cup races in the past but have not been on the schedule in recent years. The 14 race schedule includes a 10 race Regular season segment, followed by the traditional 4 race Championship segment to determine the 2012 CARS Pro Cup Champion.
