Arlington Raceway - Cornwell Tools Night

Arlington Minnesota - We had a great car count and perfect weather to make a smooth racing surface for the entire night of racing. We started out the night at 6:30 the go-kart features and moved into the racing program at 7, it was the IMCA Hobby Stock car class special. Drivers recieved stimulus money that was put in an envelope by there fans. The money ranged from $10-$100. In the heat race 11r Rod Manthey from Norwood had his engine expire, his crew was able to swap the motor out and have him back out there for the feature. In the feature 00 Cody Schnepf from Waseca took the early lead but 74 Chris Isaacson from Hutchinson worked his way up to the rear bumper of the 00 but was unable to make the pass and Schnepf picked up the win and the 6ft tall trophy. Second went to Isaacson, in third was 72 Josh Fischer from Lafayette, fourth went to the hard charging 11 R Rod Manthey, and in fifth was 87 Chad Provencher from Silver Lake.
In the IMCA Sport Compacts 12 Scott Porter from Madison Lake took off with the early lead and led the entire race on the last lap his engine went up in smoke but was able to make it around to pick up the win, second went to 83 Dan Jacobus from Arlington, in third was 42 John Kelzer from Arlington, fourth went to 54 Alan Lahr from Nicollet, and in fifth was 07 Kyle Ewert from Arlington.
In the Liberty Station Outlaws 50 Randy Reinhart from New Ulm took the early lead and was setting anice pace around the track until lap 9 when 38b Brad Becker from Gaylord made it around him and never looked back, Becker picked up the win and the 6ft tall trophy. Second went to 0x Mark Oestriecht from Henderson, third went to 11 Rod Manthey from Norwood, fourth went to 00 Brad Schnepf from Waseca, and in fifth was 0 Charlie Rustman from St. Peter.
In the 95.7 the Blaze Wissota Midwest Modifieds 23s John Schuelke from Burnsville took the early lead until the final laps when 72 Tyler Limoges from Redwood Falls made his way by and picked up the win and the 6ft tall trophy, second went to Schuelke, in third went to 43 Larry Revier from Olivia, in fourth was 97 Ryan Schluesner from Hector, and fifth went to 88 Dustin Auld from Greenfield.
In the B&B Racing Chassis IMCA Stock Cars 71d Shawn Bruns from Danube took off with the early lead and drove a clean race and picked up the win, second was 87 Brent Uecker from Hutchinson, in third went to 41 Brad Scheibel from New Ulm, in fourth was 92 Dan Mackenthun from Hamburg, and fifth went to 1v Joe Voss from Belle Plaine.
In the IMCA Sprint Cars 29 Lee Thomas from Duluth took the early lead and ran away with it to pick up the win and the 6ft tall trophy, second was 7 AJ Stevens from Bingham Lake, third went to 55 Bruce Allen from Mankato, in fourth was 77 Brandon Allen from St. Peter, and in fifth was 20 Jordan Wilmes from St. Peter.
In the MN 93 IMCA Modifieds the top spot was passes around many times on lap 10 5 Brandon Beckendorf from Danube took over the top spot and was running very smooth on the high side until a restart late in the race 74 Clint Hattlestad from Glencoe took over the lead and went on to pick up the win, second went to 23 Matt Gilbertson from Montevideo, third went to 5 Brandon Beckendorf, fourth was 79 Shawn Nolan from Annendale, and in fifth was 8 Jeff Coon from Elysian.
We will see you next weekend for Pepsi and Manus Products Night starting at 6:30 with Auto Cross heats. It will bee the IMCA Stock Car class special and the Dominick Bruns Memorial race.
