LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Drivers in four IMCA divisions competing with Pro Shocks will chase new contingency awards from the Lawrenceville, Ga., manufacturer this season.

Product certificates valued at $300, $200 and $100 go to top three eligible drivers in each of the five IMCA Modified regions and both IMCA Sunoco Stock Car regions, and to the top three drivers based on national standings for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Smiley’s Racing Chassis Southern SportMods.

In addition to displaying two Pro Shocks decals on their race car and competing with four Pro Shocks, drivers in all four divisions must complete and return a signup form to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1.

“We have a long history with IMCA,” noted Pro Shocks Marketing Director Roger Mealey, who traces his own professional relationship with the sanctioning body almost 20 years. “I know a lot about the size and scope of the organization and I like the way they administer their contingency award program. IMCA does a lot of media coverage with their newsletter and web presence and drivers benefit from that.”

“I’ve attended the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals many times,” he added, “and there’s no other event in the nation where you see so many cars or can talk to so many drivers at one track.”

Information about Pro Shocks is available by calling 770 995-6300 and at the www.proshocks.com website.

Awards in all four divisions will be mailed beginning in late October, after point standings have become official.

"It's been since 1999 that we partnered with Pro Shocks and now is a great time to rekindle that relationship,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “They have a real market share of IMCA racers and their program as an option on our contingency signup sheets will add value for those racers.

“It will be great to have representation from them back at special events, including the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals in 2012,” he added.
