May.01.2012 This weekend is one of the the most popular nights of the year, as Florence Speedway hosts our annual Fan Appreciation Night. This event has quickly became a favorite of fans and drivers alike due to the popular intermission actvities. During intermission, fans will have the opportunity to come down to the infield to see the cars up close, meet the drivers and get autographs. On top of that, is is the cheapest admission night of the year as it is only $10 to get in. On the racing side of things will be complete programs in the Late Model, Modified, Pure Stock, and Hornet divisions. Due to the extracurricular activities, everything will start a little earlier than normal, with Hot Laps starting at 6pm and Heat races hitting the track at 7pm. Speedway officials are pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for this year's 26th Annual Ralph Latham Memorial. Tickets for this event are typically not available in advance, but due to high demand, officials have decided to allow pre-sales. Due to the race being only a month away, there will still be no reserved seating for this event. All seating will be open seating as in the past. However, our current plan is to do some sort of limited reserved seating for the 2013 running of the race. Details on that event will be released at a later time.
