Steel Block Bandits Late Model Racing Series
Bandits Going Back to Philly
For the second year in a row the Steel Block Bandits will have a booth at the 2011 Motorsports Race Car & Trade Show at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oak PA on Jan. 21, 22 & 23. This year, there will be a strong showing by the Bandits. Cars that will be on display in the Bandits booth will be the 2010 Points Champion Walker Arthur, 4th in points Kyle Merkel and new comer Sean Merkel. On display at the Virginia Motor Speedways booth will be the 1k of Bruce Kane who finished 2nd in the 2010 points chase.
“Several people ask me why we go to this expo event. It’s simple….. networking is key to the growth of our series and this is clearly the best show in our area,” Danny Wilson, series promoter. Wilson went on to say “Len Sammons Productions has done an outstanding job with this expo event and we feel it’s a great opportunity for our series, sponsors and drivers.”
On Saturday Jan. 22nd from 1pm to 3pm Ms. Motorsports Danielle Wilson, Walker Arthur, Bruce Kane, Kyle Merkel and Sean Merkel will be signing autographs at the Bandits booth. On Sunday Jan. 23rd from 1pm – 2pm be sure to bring the kids by and meet “Rocky the Racing Rooster."
