in the mid Atlantic area where i live all the tracks have there own rules for the street stock or thundercars. To me this makes no sence since all the other divisions have a standard  rules and it allows the cars to travel and compete where they so chose. the super latemodels-410 sprints - 358 sprints and 358 latemodels all can travel from track to track  and even the 4 banger classes are the same . it just is mind boggling to me. any one have any ideas on how to best fix this

No Doubt it would help if we could get things a little more standardized.

well there are some tech problems with this deal i have been thinking over..first the thunder cars have strut front ends that wont allow the bigger late model tires the street stocks run. and so also engine rules ... if this could be phased in over a few years and allow the teams to use up what they have and give them time to build toward the future it could work. This is going to be the tough part cause the thunder car class is better than the street stocks.. the bigger engine rules i.e. 4 barrel and the rest of the rules.. and smaller tires produce the best racing you will see.. to me the smaller tire mixed with the better engines makes for great racing and the tires are the equalizer because you can only put so much power to the ground...
